Gary L McElmurray Construction Co., Inc. will assist the project owner(s) with the pre-construction phase including creating a strategic plan for the project, creating a design, securing permits or entitlements, and gathering the labor and resources required for construction. This includes the design process of creating the description of the new facility, usually represented by detailed plans and specifications to include the process of identifying activities and resources required to make the design a physical reality.


The designer and Gary L McElmurray Construction Co., Inc. will work together from the beginning, as a team, providing unified project recommendations to fit the Project Owner(s) schedule and budget. Any changes are addressed by the entire team, leading to collaborative problem-solving and innovation, not excuses or blame-shifting. While single-source contracting is the fundamental difference between design-build and the old ways, equally important is the culture of collaboration inherent in design-build. The Owner manages only one contract with a single point of responsibility.


Gary L McElmurray Construction can also provide Design/Bid/Build, also known as the general contracting project delivery method, the process is linear, where one phase is completed before another phase is begun with no overlap. This is the traditional method of project delivery and has been the most widely used construction delivery method since ancient times. The benefit of this process is the price Is up to you since the designer and contractor are hired separately, you have a lot more control over the pricing of your project.  It gives better project clarity, and it follows a sequential timeline and gives the owner more control.
